Meet Danielle

Hi! I’m an Independent Registered Dental Hygienist with more than 17 years of experience helping people feel confident in their healthy, radiant smiles.

After many years of working in traditional dental offices, I felt called to create something different. That vision became Soleil; a calm, personalized dental hygiene studio where prevention, education, and long-term wellness are at the heart of every appointment. My goal is to shift dental care away from rushed cleanings or pushy treatments, and toward an experience that feels more like self-care — one where you leave not only with a healthier smile, but also with the knowledge and confidence to maintain it.

My Story

I began my journey in Windsor, Ontario, completing the Dental Hygiene Diploma program at St. Clair College in 2008. I launched my career in Saskatoon, where I practiced for four years before moving to Calgary in 2012. Since then, I’ve worked in more than 30 clinics across the city and surrounding communities, caring for patients from all walks of life. Along the way, I discovered that my true passion isn’t just in creating healthy smiles — it’s in building strong, lasting relationships with the people behind them.

Giving back has also been an important part of my career. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with Kindness In Action, an Alberta-based not-for-profit organization, on two dental outreach trips to rural communities in Guatemala and Ecuador. Providing dental hygiene care in areas with limited access to dentistry was both humbling and inspiring. Even without a shared language, I learned that a smile speaks universally, and those weeks of volunteering remain some of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I look forward to the opportunity to volunteer again in the future — perhaps in a country I’ve yet to explore.

I’m so looking forward to welcoming you to Soleil, and to partnering with you in your oral health journey.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll often find me outside, soaking up the beauty of Alberta. Whether it’s camping, visiting dog parks, or dipping into the river with my Golden Retriever, Finley, the outdoors is where I recharge. I also love being creative, and usually have a project or two on the go — it’s part of how I bring joy and balance into my everyday life.
